An Amazing and Awesome Getaway!

As promised my next post is about my getaway that I have been looking forward to since few months back. (I forgot which month and so we shall just leave it at that XD ) At first we were supposed to go to Bangkok, but that failed and so it became a trip to Bali on the 22nd of December. I was equally excited as it was a trip where I get to run away from my responsibilities and reality even if it was just for a span of 5 days. That's all I need. :D I absolutely hate it when assignments, homework and revision for finals all piled on me. Hate the pressure but that at least beats the boredom of having nothing to do. Yeah time flies. It's almost 2015 and I haven't even completed my list of 2014 new year resolutions yet. Ugh I'm getting sidetracked again. I shall continue that of new years and the resolutions in the next post and talk more of my holiday here. hahah. Well, to begin with, this is mostly going to be filled with a lot, I really do mean a lot of photos. :D I feel that this is one of the times where pictures would be better able to explain than words and so I'll be using more photos to illustrate the entire trip. Take it to be like a picture book. hahah

Day 1

Breakfast before the flight. :)

In the waiting area.

A random Selfie before takeoff :D

The view of the sky and the sea and being able to see the horizon. :P

When we touched down in Bali

When bored, take a selfie :D

Basically bored us in the van. Extreme case of boredom.

 Day 2

Dolphin viewing early in the morning.

This is an amazing experience there was also a little baby dolphin. The only frustrating thing was that when the Dolphins surface and swim together in a straight line, the boats would all speed over to get a closer look and then they would end up cutting into the direction which the Dolphins are swimming in and the Dolphins wouldn't resurface again. :( All in it was a really fun and amazing experience. :) would love to go dolphin viewing again! :)

Delicious Pork Ribs for lunch! :D

Pork Ribs for dinner. :)

These pork ribs are the best I've tasted so far. It was juicy and had sufficient proportions of lean and fat meat. So amazing. I'm drooling as I type this out.

Day 3

Waiting to go for an early morning hike. *these two have spammed my phone with selfies and wefies for the entire 5 days*

Hiking to take a look at the paddy field.

After hiking and not even seeing a single paddy field, however, we saw field after field of 'lalang', *I have no idea what's it called in English* ><, we went white water rafting. :D It was really fun and a new experience for me. I truly enjoyed myself there. Our guide was also super friendly and was super helpful as well. The river water was truly refreshing! :D

Wefie under the waterfall during white water rafting! XD

A break halfway down the river! :D

The funny thing here was during the hike back! I was a extremely exhausted from hiking back up to the restaurant to have lunch and I kept asking 'are we there yet?', then the guide asked me if I wanted a piggy back hahah and he asked me multiple times too. XD Of course I gracefully refused each time, only to continue whining about how tired and heavy my feet were... heheh

Temple by the sea.

Where this alien come from? Is it gonna eat me???

A wefie in an empty field.

Oh and something interesting happened here. There were these super random people standing at the archway and as Kee Ming and I were waiting for the rest of them to be done taking their photos, this girl asks us to take a selfie with them. I was like I take for you? But they said no... We take together. I was like woah.. did I become famous overnight? The randomness of people can still surprise me in a  way. :P

Then at night we had dinner at a restaurant. This is where we had dinner on a gazebo. This is where our table was sort of like on a porch and it was on the water in a lake! ;) it was so cool! The food there was also quite good!

all trying to squeeze on that tiny platform and not fall into the pond while trying to make sure the photo turns out alright.

While waiting for the food.... Wefie!!

Why the food taking so long?? *pouts*

Finally the food is here!! 😍😍

Tadaaaa! Dessert! A mixed fruit punch! Everything was sweet save for the strawberries which were extremely sour! >.<

Day 4

Breakfast before we go for water sports. :D

A photo of Kee Ming and I when we were waiting for our turn on the Fly Board! XD

My mum, Wen Ee and I also waiting our turn on the fly board excluding my mum. She didn't do it.

That's lil' me standing on water yo! Yeah feast your eyes on that! XD

Sitting at the beach waiting for dinner. Mums have gone off surveying while we decided to stop and take a break since there's such a nice view.

Siew Ling(left) and Wen Jun(right) wondering why is it taking so long just to get a photo taken.

Another selfie of me by the beach! :D

A wefie as we were playing on the beach, Wen Jun(from the left), me and Wen Ee.

Trying to catch the sunset with us in the photo. It was hilarious trying to take that particular photo.

And yes, we have the tendency to take lots of selfies and wefies. XD

The beautiful sunset where you think you would only see in the TV. :P

The ocean has swallowed up the sun and the moon has  come out to play. :D

Everyone together and celebrating christmas! XD Best feeling ever.

Day 5

On the last day, we went shopping and I got a new hat and a cap! xD It looks like I have ticked off another 2 items off my to-buy list. heheh

Wefie-ing in the van. And yes I've gotten addicted to Pokki!! >.<

Our last day, here and we are as usual taking photos at the airport before takeoff!
