[Review] Inside Out

Hey guys! I'm back with another movie review. :) It's been ages since I did one, I guess I haven't been to the movies or seen a good one at home that I really really like yet. Finally, the movie I have been waiting for since the first time I saw the trailer, Inside Out has been released in Malaysia yesterday. I only watched it today though. Also, I have a weird feeling that I won't be going to the theatres much in the UK. Yes I will be flying off to further my studies in the UK This coming September, You can totally check out my getting ready part 1, and then you'll see how I switched from being super laid back to being super rushed to get everything done. Part 2 isn't complete yet and I'll probably only post it right before I take off. Anyways, back to the topic at hand, the movie! I really loved this movie, It put things in different perspectives, it made me think about what was going on inside our minds (silly, I know but that makes it more fun!). There are so many perspectives to life and not just ours. Well, we have tendencies to follow our perspectives but the fact is that sometimes it maybe wrong and we do need to stop and listen to the perspectives of others. Okay, so that was the gist of the train of thought that was running through my mind while watching this movie. It's amazing to see animation come to life about what's going on inside our minds but beware it isn't all cotton candy and rainbows. Though we want to be positive there are times where we really need someone to just be there for us. Every component of us, our past and present, even those around us whether they're here to stay or it's just another stop for them, all these makes us who we are today. Our past experiences shape our character and personalities. The person we become in the future all depends on our actions now. Our future is not set in stone therefore, it can be said that one small action may cause a ripple in time which will change the future. :) I seemed to have diverted from the main topic here. hehe

The movie, is mostly about what goes on in a human mind and that every component of ourselves is important and there isn't a grain that could be lost, else we wouldn't be who we are. :) It has been put in a very simple manner in which even kids would be able to grasp the simple concept. Well done Disney! Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. you should totally watch the trailer if you haven't done so yet. :P

There are multiple other trailers but this is the one I love best! :D

[Review] Jurassic World

This was a movie that met my expectations and I really enjoyed it. Jurassic World is about where humans have recreated dinosaurs and have used that and turned it into a theme park. At first my thought was like seriously? Will it be shadowed as this is a sequel? But after watching the trailer, I was like this would be worth watching. :D hehe If you haven't yet watched the trailer, watch it here now :)

My friend and I went to watch this yesterday and on a whim we decided to try out TGV Cinemas' Beanie Plex! I've heard tons about it and have always wanted to try it out. hahaha and it was totally worth it and so nice! It was literally a huge bean bag which you can lie or sit in while enjoying the movie. It was super comfortable once I got the right spot. :) Totally enjoyed this experience and will definitely be back for more.

About the movie I wouldn't say much as I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say this there were things that I could guess the outcome but I never guessed how it came about. Well, no need to say but the dinosaurs were amazing as usual!! This totally met all my expectations for a sequel and was so worth watching not to mention the oh-so-hot Chris Pratt who played Owen. hehe I'm a sucker for action and a hunk :P That's all for now. :) Till the next time

[Review] Cinderella

A classic Disney fairytale. One that I have loved ever since I was but a child. When I heard it was being released in the cinemas, I was exceptionally excited and couldn't wait to watch it. If you've read my previous post then you'll know that my friends and I have been 'Chasing Cinderella' for quite sometime already. If you haven't read it just click on those words above and it'll take you right to it. Imagine my frustration at not being able to watch it. However, that's beside the point. What I want to say is.... *beware there will be some spoilers and fan-girling moments* I so love everything from their props to her dress, and the scenery, even the songs!! Before I continue, I sha remind all of you that there will be spoilers ahead! Do not read on if you do not want to know what happens in the movie!

Alrighty then since all the warnings have been taken care of, you should take the time to watch the trailer. Hahah absolutely love it! 🙈

The dresses, the scenery, the magic! I absolutely adore them all. Especially the glass slippers! 😍 The way that this is portrayed, it shows Cinderella come to life! I absolutely love Cinderella. Don't you? The moment when she met the prince, Mr Kit, I believe so. It was really funny, and I thought that she would have known who the prince was! However, if she knew the prince then she would have spoken as she did. So in a way I'm glad she didn't. Also in the beginning which shows her rich childhood and her kingdom. This teaches me that no matter what, a happy family is really important. This brings to mind the saying, " Be kind and others will too". The famous saying in the movie is " Have Courage and Be Kind". That has been added to my repertoire of codes to live by. Oh! and did I mention that her, Mr Kit has the bluest eyes I have ever seen? *dreamy* He's really pretty and dreamy and oh those blue eyes. Their language and British accent is also so nice! I have so adored the accent and I have been dreaming of his blue eyes ever since. Her stepmother and stepsisters are horrid as usual. However, what her mother said, "Where There is Kindness, There is Goodness, and Where There is Goodness There is Magic!" This is just so exciting! ^.^

Lavender's Blue (Dilly Dilly), [Cinderella OST]

Strong by Sonna Rele, [Cinderella OST]

I know I'm all over the place with this review, but I believe that this wonderful classic fairytale has been reproduced perfectly. :D I'm  now in love with two of their OSTs. heheh >.~

There is also another by Ellie Goulding which I find isn't as bad but I do love the two above the best!

My Blood by Ellie Goulding, [Cinderella OST]

You should give it a try too and I hope you'll love it as much as I do. :) This phone pluggy was inspired by Cinderella.

P.S It is up for sale if you wish to purchase it. Limited stock so do let me know in the comment box if you're interested. :)

[Review] Kingsman: The Secret Service

Hey guys today I'm going to write a review on the movie, Kingsmen: The Secret Service. I absolutely love this movie! It is action packed, filled with hunks, there are ladies, and one thing I absolutely cannot get enough of the British accent!!! OMG! I love their British accent the most! This story revolves around the secret organisation, Kingsmen. After finishing the movie, I realised that the Kingsmen's code names are taken after the legendary King Arthur and his round table of knights, the best part the person in charge of the arrangements and the communications and such is called merlin! I was like whoa! It's the 21st century version of the legend of King Arthur and his round table of knights plus merlin, his advisor! I so love that. It's really really good! I have already watched this movie two times in the cinema! :D It just goes to show how much I love the movie. I'm now waiting for the download to be available in HD. I'm so going to download the movie and then watch a thousand times over. Okay before I go any further, I'm going to insert the amazing trailer that caught my eye the first time I saw it in the cinema. :P What I mention after this might contain some spoilers so do proceed with caution. If I'm not mistaken I only mentioned the scenes shown in the trailers but I can't be totally sure so I'm just giving a spoiler alert as a heads up just in case. :)

Well, what do you think? Don't you think that that is just amazing? Like super super amazing! Not to mention the gadgets that they have. I would so love that umbrella or those oxfords. Even the pen they have is so cool! The hand grenade is also really cool but most of all I love their suit! You have gotta check out their cool gadgets for yourself, I'll not ruin it any further. :P Besides that the next unforgettable thing would obviously be the quote from Harry Hart aka Galahad.

"Manners Maketh Man" - Harry Hart aka Galahad.

Those were the words he said before he beat up an entire group of guys that were threatening to beat Eggsy, yeah I know what a name right?, for which they have a totally good reason. I absolutely cannot get this outta my head. Hahah that would be all for now.. :D TTFN

[Review] Jupiter Ascending

Hey guys, I'm back with another movie review! I know it's been ages since I last did one. >< I got carried away and blogged less than usual, but I'm here to rectify that. :D Recently, I watched Jupiter Ascending which met my expectations completely. when I first watched the trailer, it totally caught my eye! I'm a sucker for movies like that, something between fantasy and sci-fi. Amazing! So when I first saw the movie trailer, I thought to myself, "I have gotta watch that movie." Before I delve further into what other details that caught my eye, here's the trailer!

Okay... I assume you've all watched the trailer. My next reason for watching this apart from the plot is of course, Channing Tatum! Do you not agree with me that he is a fine piece of work? Yes, every good movie must have a hunk to drool over. :P Besides that, Mila Kunis is also very pretty or in other words, she's smoking' hot! hahah I don't drool over girls, it's more like an appreciative admiration and then I set my fitness goals there to achieve such a body. XD  Now the movie itself, I don't want to give any spoilers so I won't say much about the plot, but I will say this, 'you really have to pay attention if not you might miss something which may be a mini piece to the puzzle.' After watching the entire movie I don't find the plot all that confusing. This sort of plot makes you try to guess the end and how the movie will go. It was exciting for me, though I'm not sure all would love it as much as I do. Some may find it predictable. The other thing about the movie is the graphics and scenery. It's amazing, I absolutely love the beauty of one scene as it changes to another. They made it all seem so real. :) Well that's all I've got to say without giving out spoilers. :D TTFN

[Review] Maleficent

Disney movies are always on my must watch list! :D So... Maleficent is of no exception! I was really excited to watch it! I finally watched it last Sunday with my family. I have to say that I absolutely adore the graphics and scenery. They're so beautiful! :D Also the way the story line is written is also wonderful. There were a few unexpected twists along the way which is what makes it wonderful and a good movie as well. For me, when I watched the trailer, I knew the storyline revolved around one of my all time childhood favourite fairy tale 'The Sleeping Beauty'. I knew this fairy tale by heart as it was one of my favourites and also that I have been read and read myself, the book about a thousand times over. heheh So without further ado, I'm going to go into analysing the story as well as telling most of the movie scenes. Thus, to those who haven't watched it yet, I give a fair warning of SPOILERS ALERT up ahead. Proceed if you wish to know before you have watched it. :P Here's the trailer.

Maleficent Official Trailer 3

So Maleficent was unexpected for me. Its storyline revolves around the disney fairy tale, 'The Sleeping Beauty'. Well, yeah it did revolve around it but with a twist. The director took it up another level by using the original fairy tale as a plot but only now the main character here is not Princess Aurora, well it still is in some parts, but rather it revolves around the guardian of 'The Moors', Maleficent. Maleficent is the guardian of The Moors, played by Angelina Jolie. Like all fairies she had wings but Maleficent, the guardian of The Moors, was no ordinary fairy, she is the strongest of them all. She had huge wings the colour of chestnuts and they dragged behind her when she walked. She had two huge horns on her head. However, despite all that, she looked beautiful. Maleficent was but a young girl when she met a boy who tried to steal from The Moors named Stefan. Stefan was a orphan and he lived in a barn. Everything started out so innocently, where they became friends, and later the closest of friends and then lovers. They grew and played together on The Moors. On her sixteenth birthday, Stefan told Maleficent that he was going to give her a gift, true love's kiss. They were both very young and blinded. Maleficent having grown up on The Moors had never encountered the nature of humans and their greed. After awhile, Stefan soon left Maleficent to find his place in the world. Years passed and Maleficent blossomed into a magnificent lady. One day, a king heard of this powerful creature who lives in The Moors. He wanted to kill it, but he failed. He then ordered his subjects to kill the creature with the reward of being the next king and marrying his daughter. Stefan was one of those people, sadly he was driven by greed.

Stefan went back to The Moors with the intention of killing Maleficent. He spent a lot of time with her and slipped a concoction into her water so she would fall asleep. He tried to kill her but he couldn't. It was then that Maleficent experienced her first betrayal at the hand of one whom she loved. Since he couldn't bear to kill her. he decided to take her wings instead. When she woke she was devastated. Stefan brought back her wings and became the next king. However, he did not calculate the hatred he would stir up in Maleficent which caused his daughter to be cursed by her. It is here that you would see similarities in the movie and the fairy tale sleeping beauty. Princess Aurora was cursed by Maleficent as a baby that on her sixteenth birthday she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deathlike sleep forever which can only be broken by true love's kiss. Following the fairy tale, Princess Aurora was sent to live outside the palace and in hiding until her sixteenth birthday has passed. Her caretakers were three really clumsy but good hearted fairies. Also along her way she got to know Maleficent who was always by her side watching her with her faithful servant, Diavlo. As Aurora almost turned sixteen, here she met Prince Phillip, also similar to the fairy tale.

The most unpredictable twist was the true love's kiss which saved Aurora from that horrible fate, instead of the prince kissing her, representing the true love's kiss, instead it was Maleficent that broke the curse which she placed upon the child. This tells us that true love is not only between lovers but it can be between anyone. I believe that true love is when one loves another truly and dearly with unconditional love. It couldn't have been the prince as he had only met her once, and that was probably love at first sight, but then he haven't even gotten to know her. Maleficent instead had known her since she was a baby. Maleficent in all her hatred towards Stefan loved Aurora dearly even though she nicknamed Aurora 'Little Beastie'. haha I find that nickname adorable.

I really really love this Disney Movie! I personally find it really interesting. :D Well, that's all for the review. What's your take on this Disney Movie, Maleficent?

[Review] Transcendence

In the beginning I didn't know about this movie. I only found out about it as I was at the cinema and have watched most of the movies.. >< I know I'm a cinema addict hahah but when I saw the poster to Transcendance, I decided to watch it based on the fact that one of my favourite actor, Johnny Deep, was acting in it. It was also a plus point that the movie was about AI (Artificial Intelligence). I'm a total techno geek hahah I love anything to do with technology. :)

Moving on, I expected this movie to also be the typical AI movie where humans install the AI and then they would feel threatened by the AI and try to shut it down but then the AI would retaliate by trying to annihilate the humans instead. However, this is really different. I thought this would be the same and stereotyped. I was proven wrong. This movie revolves around Dr. Will Caster and his life research which has caused him to be attacked by those who were against his reasearch.  In the end that caused him to have a chronic disease to which there is no cure. Right on his deathbed, his wife found a way to have his consciousness uploaded into the program of artificial intelligence. Follow the journey of these two individuals as they strive for unachieved greatness. They were made for each other, when she thought there was no way to save her love of her life, she found one that could make him immortal. Join them on their journey of hardships which is overcome by true love. Watch how the plot unfolds and how they take it through to the end. I would explain further but then it would be spoilers wouldn't it? ;) I'll leave the trailer link down below. :D hope you guys enjoy the movie as much as I do.
