Home is where the Heart is!

Hey guys, it's been a long time since I've written here. I guess I got overwhelmed by the freedom of leaving on my own with no parents' supervision and all. However, there's a catch to it all, with freedom comes self discipline. If you're not discipline enough, well life would be a disaster but that talk is for another day, I'm here today to tell you about my first Chinese New Year abroad.

First off, I'm super lucky to be able to travel abroad to further my studies and that's thanks to my parents for making that a reality. Secondly, I'm also really happy that I have and am lucky enough to encounter friends that I will in fact keep for life! It is thanks to these amazing people that, though I'm 6,533 miles away from my family and home, there was never a moment where I am alone. They say home is where the heart is, and that is true indeed, for I've come to regard Oxford as my home. It is also thanks to my favourite girls that I had such an enjoyable and memorable Chinese New Year in the UK.

Whereas for some other dishes, the preparation work had to be done the night before. I won't go through the details of us cooking, it's pretty boring and exhausting. hahaha The video at the end of this post will show you highlights of moments. :)
